    Hi,

I'm not sure whether this post should be here or in the Classifieds section of the board, jus tthought it would get better exposure here. Ryan or Grimlok feel free to movie it if you want.

I'm putting some early issue of mag-neto up for auction to benefit fellow hot rodder and cancer fighter Shannon in North Carolina. Up for sale are issues 4 through 11, the second and third years of publication. Issue 4 is one of my all-time favoites as it features all Caddy-powered cars.

I'll have the winning bidder send the proceeds directly to Shannon. Auction ends this Sunday Feb. 13th at noon Eastern time. They're having a car show benefit this weekend as well.

So let's be generous and start the bidding at $100, what do you say?

Come on guys lets get some bids going. These early Magnetos are rare. Only about 1200 were printed of issues 4-7, only about 1500 each of issues 8-11. With any luck they will be collector's items someday. And this is for a really good cause.

Thanks to Tony for the cool auction.

I was saving my dough for raffle tickets, and a chance at some art on Saturday night. But let's keep this auction rolling... I bid $140 and Caddyman gets to keep his wheel. (Maybe kick-off another auction or raffle it on Saturday?) Looking forward to seeing everyone at Slim's.

Looks like NorwegianV8 is the winner! Congrats. I'll PM you with instructions for payment and I'll send you the magazines as soon as possible. Caddyman, how do you want to handle the steering wheel shipment?

Thanks to flash and norwegian! I can ship the steering wheel from work, just let me know when. Thanks again guys. FYI, we raised $1500 at our benefit show on Sat. Already gave the $ to Shannon. We hope to raise another 4-5 thousand for him at our car show next month. Thanks again-Jay
