I've had this 49 chop top for quiet a few years now. After getting a few of the honey dues done I'll be on my way to stardom. But first I'll be building a rotisserie. I don't think the frame that's currently under the car will support the engine I have in mind. Does anyone out there have any advice for channeling? I want to keep the center of gravity as low as possible.

Done in steel by Dave Homans, who had the car before me, just follows the shape of the body, glad you like it:)

  18. Do you know anything about it? Is the door from a different car? If so any history on it?

The doors are off another body. I am pretty sure the body I have has never been raced. If anyone knows about the history of the doors I would love to hear it.

Here's the Thames that I recently purchased at its first outing at the LA Roadster Show last weekend:

A few mods and probably a paint job coming in the future. Plan to keep it on the road as much as possible, I've got too many projects already!
