  1. Did you guys pancake the trunk on that car at all?

  2. Oh, and did you ever get the back glass cut?

What did you do to get that stance? Man that ride height is PERFECT. Did you have to notch the frame to get the rear that low? If I could get my bel air to ride that height I would be a happy man.

Thanks guys... no glass yet and I'll try to add some more pictures soon. I've been super busy latley with life stuff... I barley have time to do anything lately, no life... In fact, my buddy had to drive my car into the GNRS because I was tied up that weekend. I'll be back 100% in November though.

I have a '54 Chevy 150 that I just bought and want to have it chopped. I'll do body work, but won't attempt something like this. Your's is the first I've seen that looks perfect. How many inches were removed front and back? It looks like you slid the roof forward and leaned the B pillars to accomadate the new location of the roof. Was the rear glass leaned forward a little then too? I can't seem to figure out how you did the rear exactly.

Hey!!! Well, no major progress on the 54 as of yet... I'm just happy to be able to drive it every now and then.

I hope to have the rear glass and rear side glass in within a few weeks. I'll make sure to take as many pictures as I can as it's being cut.

this thing is one of the most beautiful works of art i have seen since the bill hines/monster garage 54 chevy. i wish i could do my 54 in bare metal, but i have to replace some body panels and i've been trying to figure out how to blend them well enough to be unnoticeable. any more pics? i would love to see more!

Like everyone else, I too would like to see some pics of the cuts!

  15. I think you need to finish sand that car all the way down to 3000 grit and buff it then wax it. Shame to cover that up with paint. That is truly a work of art. Thank you for sharing this with us.

that is probably the best chop i have seen with the original backlight kept. i plan to use a donor backlight but thats because i like that extreme slanted/raked look in the back...probably gonna use shoebox rear window...but great job, cant wait to see more pics

Love the looks of the roofline, you really nailed the chop. Nice to see you used the original back window. Not to change the subject but what's the story on the Stude pickup? Would love to see some pics on that!

A little of topic, but are your lakes pipes functional and do they have mufflers anywhere on them?

Awesome car. This is chop I want.

What up guys... not much happening here other than work, work, kids, wife and house work. I need to get back to the 54 this summer. I will try to get the rear glass cut and installed within the next 2-3 months, time permitting.

Yes, the Lake Pipes are ran straight w/out mufflers. I don't have a radio installed either...

I am getting ready to chop my '53 210.I have not decided on the rear window treatment yet.Your car looks dead on.Why not slide the rear glass into the package tray....that's an old trick i was thinking of using..I have not heard of laminated rear glass.Who has them?

Looks great man. The door gaps lining up are right on. It's nice to see when someone puts in the effort on some nice custom work.
