    It's for sale, BTW

  4. Here's the '57 I nabbed to run. It was dirt cheap and is pretty solid, except for the floors - the rears are patched and the driver's side needs to be done too. But the exhaust pipe that hangs under it even looks useable - I was amazed it was parted out (at least twice I found out later, once for the air, once for the motor/trans/steering), but then it's a 4dr so most people don't care. All the better for me. This was taken the day I went up to see it - grille, bumpers and some other stuff were all inside it.

I am thinking maybe run a '57 DeSoto grille/bumper in place of the stock stuff and the stock bottom pan for a unique look without hacking it up too much, I can get one from a buddy for cheap.

Second shot is where I put it - not my back yard but a buddy's, and an old shot - you'd see the '57 Plymouth and '50 Ford woodie I got to re-sell and the '40 Buick I'm probably going to wind up building, if it was a current photo - also a buttload of snow on top of everything. I stuck a current (last month) shot of that car on too... body-wise its about the same shape as the '57, a few dings but not a lot of rot-out.

My god there is some awesome tin on this board. Don't puke, it's a '57 Plymouth 2dr Suburban. I'm ashamed to have it up.
