Well, I finally found one! I picked up a 41 Plymouth P12 Special Deluxe Business Coupe. It sat in a warehouse for 40 years! The darn thing runs and drives even. Got some big plans, and am so excited, I might spontaneously combust. Don't fret, I'm not cutting it up! I tried to post some pictures but got this warning window "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error." I figured the picture thing out, see page 2
Hey man. Good score! If you need original specs hit me up. I have a old 50`s and 60`s motors manuals I collect.
When I lived in San Diego my neighbor had one and I tried to pry it away for about 5 years...no luck...nice score for you though!
Good for you! I think all of us would like to find our dream car like that, where's my '40 Ford? On the pix, I have had that happen before, just don't try to load too many at one time. Try two or three at a time.
I get that message frequently if I try to do a search and I have the HAMB open in a window on my browser that has been running for a while. Open a new window and start the HAMB off fresh and it should go away. Now post those pix on your score....
My girlfriend spotted one in northern NM and we went to see it - sitting in a field behind a house. After a few inquiries we found out who owned it and called - and got the old "I'm saving it for my nephew (or fill in the blank) - it had last been registered in 64. Oh well!
Congrats you are now one of the few and the proud 41 Plymouth owners. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I love mine (all three of them) 41plym
That happened to me on several posts. I contacted Ryan and he said either I'm trying to send too many pictures or my pictures are too big and it makes the file too big. If you have some type of photoshop try reducing the size of your pictures, or do like me and give up. LOL
Use Photobucket or Imageshack. Both are free and easy to use. If you're pics are too large, the "clickable thumbnail" link is the best choice. If you do it right, you're pics will look like this; (click on it twice for the full size) My pics are 1 meg and are NOT "dial-up" friendly. (yes, some people STILL have dial-up service)
Thanks for the props folks. Well here goes...I'm going to see if I can attach these pictures after some massaging. Dang this picture stuff is cutting into my tinkering time!
Here's some more pix. Oh, and I have the radio, clock delete plate, and bumpers also. Now, back to the wrench!
