a 2 door '61 Dodge Phoenix. At first I didn't know what it was but from 50 feet away the roof line looked GREAT so I had to inspect. All the trim and badges were gone, but it had a distinctive "Dodge" look. The body wasn't too awful for an Ohio car but what really was cool was the dash/speedo. How rare are these cars? I don't think I have ever seen one.
I have seen one of them before, and thats been about 10 years ago. Must be kinda rare but it probably aint worth nothin either...
they are only rare because they were considered ugly by most and were crushed. But back in the 70s Studebakers were in the same boat and look at them now. You may just be on the cusp of the next big investment car craze.
sarcasm but years ago no one wanted Studebakers as well as 37-38 fords as well as a lot of other vehicles that are now coveted as cool.
Stude Truck....yep that would be it. I didn't have a camera with me. I'll google some pics. I found the stats. This was a Slant 6 Phoenix....only 4,273 made in '61 The speedo is see through lexan!
I'm not a dodge buy but damn those are some nice lines on the sides...the grill, not so much but what lines!
Same here. I would say parts off of that thing would be worth a ton to the right person. They're all '61 specific parts.
