Sounds like my life..... Father passed which almost broke me a month after getting married and buying a home. Then had a baby this year and he ended up in the ICU being only 9 days old from an infection. Life is crazy but it sounds like you're a strong individual who has his shit straight. Take you time on the updates.....they'll come when they come.

nice work Kid....Wish I would have had someone teach me when I was younger...May of made my life as a builder a little easier or I would have had more time to chase the honey's! Guess, the cars kept me out of trouble most of the time, and sometimes they were the beginning of my troubles....Good to see the work and the younger generation loving the cars the way we (old Coots) do. I look forward to seeing the end result!

My first car was a 53, thank you for taking the time to put this up here. I kinda feel like wrenching around on the old car puts me back in touch with my Dad who passed away last year. The 53 is the one he made me tear apart on our driveway. Glad he did. I wish I would have applied myself more. -Bob

your kinda wrong on this part. most take thereat beltline out, cause that cant get the rear window to flow correctly with it. to me when see this i this of easy way out it. if your gonna take the rear part of the beltline out.why not eliminate all of the beltline. that way it will flow better. in the bed its your ride. so have fun with it.

That should look pretty good, but I think you should also consider turning the valley of the beltline up around the rear of the quarter window and joining it to the reveal line above the windows. If you know what I mean?

X2. Look at how many chopped cars get 5 lbs of mud over the belt line.
