Jimmy hasn't made any final decisions on any shows as of now but maybe the AMBR show. We'll keep you posted.

I am going, Hope to run in to you guys -- but another Friend, Frenchy, here on the HAMB, has been told that they want him to leave his open roadster, "Hotrod Lincoln", displayed OUTSIDE for the 4 days. I know I wouldn't do that with my car.

OK Here is the important annoucement. Jimmy has won Street Rod of the year from Street Rodder Magazine . It's now official. Here is a man that has truly Built a car all his self. He built the frame from scratch, built the body from scratch, did the body and paint all himself, and even did the uhpolstery him self. How many guys can say that. He is the MAN!!!! You can check it out here for real.

    Irony:
I just found this thread and spent an hour reading it. Two weeks ago, my stepfather gave me a box of rod mags while cleaning up his shop. Having left the box in my truck, I just went out to grab it so I could flip through some of the mags while my wife went out for her morning jog and which mag happens to be staring right at me? Why it's the 12/10 Street Rodder with this on the cover. Amazing. What an incredible build.

  28. And to think that this was a "quick" build so he had something to show while he was working on another build that he thought would take too long. And now he has decided to do another Weesner inspired car before finishing the longer build.
    Keep em coming Jimmy!
You are an inspiration for all of us.

I have been attending the hcpu for the last 5 or 6 years.then in 2009 i was walking down the main isle and saw this truck i said to myself that is a interesting paint job it looks like aluminium. Then i really looked at it still in disbelief i tapped it with my ring (when no one was looking) then said to myself this is aluminium!!!!! No way!!!!! Henry ford did not make a truck out of aluminium so i see a portfolio full of pics well sure bet pictures speak a thousand words. Man!!!!!! Hand built!!!!!! Just unreal i am proud to have meet jimmy nice guy had to shake his hand just a true craftsman. Thanks for this thread just brought some memories. Saw the truck at the 2010 hcpu and it was painted great work. Thanks again. Knuck from indiana.

Jimmy Hervatin "Wins Street Rod Of The Year!"

2010 Painless Performance / STREET RODDER Street Rod of the Year

IMO - it couldn't have gone to a more deserving builder...

    Jimmy's talent is amazing...

this whole truck was built from flat sheet stock and tubing... and then he painted it and did all of the interior to boot!!

Is there nothing this guy can't do!!!

    Congrats Jimmy!!:D

(193257... sorry, I'm a few days behind you)
