Who's supposed to workin?

Work? I've heard about that concept but decided early on that if I were ever involved in an activity I considered WORK I'd change my daily environment (as in quit). After 18 different jobs (since i've been married and never staying more than a day after deciding it wasn't for me) I've come to the conclusion I'm better served by not having the aggravation of being anywhere I didn't want to be. While occupied in that former life I put every penny I could muster in a retirement program that now allows me to do as I please. It was worth every sacrifice but I still regret the 18 days (actually only about 10 in working time) I spent WORKING.

Yep, I'm working right now! I can multi task, besides my boss always walks by my desk and asks me, "what kind of car is that? I like it" She is a good boss!

I have multiple monitors though...so i'm working on shit on one and surfing the hamb on the other.

Not only am I sitting at my desk and "stickin' it to the man" by surfing HAMB, they have to look at my ugly ass truck in the parking lot every day.

 

Well since im a college student im not working right now but definatley supposed to be doing something productive and listening to a lecture. but its friday monday will come soon enough

 

Don't get caught and end up in the ranks of the unemployed with a bleak job outlook.

 

I am but I own the company and always figured if you haven't made it by Friday, you ain't gonna make it.

 

Working? Not me, I did just come from another job interview though.

 

Last week of shut down for me,back to building combines monday.

My entire workload can be done in 2 hrs. So, yeah add me to the government job list.

I'm on second shift right now, so I get up early to do this...

 

been un-employed for 3 years now .. waiting for my disability checks to start coming in so i can start working on my toys again ..

 

Same here, easy to look busy and stay entertained!

 

I should have left to a job already, but I'm technically self employed right now so I'm the boss..

 

Got two more weeks of funemployment before the new gig starts, so right now I'm the boss. Hambing and pluggin' away at the car has been like a vacation, getting bored and broke tho.

 

Fortunatly for me I work for an understanding taskmaster,as long as my dutys are preformed in a timely manor I'm free to surf the web as much as I want during normal work hours.

Of course it doesn't hurt to be married to the Boss! HRP

 

I thought surfing the HAMB was my job, shoot now I got to figure out what I'm supposed to do in this office. Ha ha!

 

I'm on service alert, if the cell rings off I go to work, could be 10 minute call, could be out till Monday morning, it's a crap shoot, no pun intended.

 

HAHA!!!! I feel the same way!!!!

 

all you guys shouldn't be on here this time of day...
