Burgandy may be closer to the actual color, but red is close enough for me.

Dan Swain and Bobby Krull ran Vega wagons in western NY. Perhaps Dr. John has some pics.

    An unusual photo request...

I'm looking for a couple of logos. Remember the TV show "This Week on DIRT?"

How about the LIVE TV show, "Rush Hour on DIRT?"

I was a camera operator for the shows, but don't have any of the artwork :( Can anyone hook a brother up?

Best part is that I have the original car not a ''copy cat '' car . Body , chassis , bumpers , suspension , even the original steering wheel !

    Hiya Ernie..

Punky's car was one of the reasons I chose #121 for my first race car.

  16. Those two bottom pics must be of the aftermath of the dash for the checker flag at Martinsville between Evans and Bodine.

OK here are some from the 50's. Dexter Park. Woodhaven , Queens NY. Allstate Racing Stock Car Club. That's my uncle Len's 337 driven by the great Johnny Mann. That's my Dad tuning her up with the hammer.

  20. BMS44, you are indeed a lucky dog. many's the night I went to claremont and watched Punky in action. I have to ask, when you got the car, were there any rims on it that weren't ground off on the rim? I know every time ole Punk got along side someone, sparks would shower off the rims.:D that alone was worth the price of admission.

Ya , Punky sure made the show where ever he ran that coupe . I ran against the coupe myself for years and will cherish those memories forever . He won so many races with this car at Claremont Speedway , Monadnock Speedway and even had two top ten finishes in the Thompson 300's !
