You can see the car in my Barn Find Thread from 09/07/10....Have been working on cleaning the car up, removing interior, engine/trans. etc. Today we started at 9 a.m. this morning, and this is what we ended up with. I still have to hook the steering up, and some small stuff...then starting on the rearend later in the week....Let me know your thoughts..Special thanks to my Great friend Greg Blaydes, my neighbor Benny Tielking, and my Harley Riding buddy Robert

Come on..Too nice for what? The front clip was probably nice too? Ya cut that off for the axle, your not ever going back to stock, are you? ...Tub it and radius the wheel openings..Just do it..

After you reach the "point of no return" you'll be radiusing those rear wheel wells. How do you reach "the point of no return" you ask? When you can't get enough traction with the tires that fit in the stock wheelwells.:D
BTW, be sure to post pictures of the stock wheel wells being cut.:)

New rearend is going under the Henry tomorrow....8.8, coil over / ladder bar. Having to drill spot welds out of the spare tire well for more room for the coil overs, and making a plate to cover the hole. I was hoping to keep the original tire in the well for a conversation piece, but Oh well

I actually thought if I ever got tired of the Gasser look " Which I Doubt ", but I could always put a Mustang II front susp. in the car......so the new frame will work for either...it was easy to cut the frame out of the front :D

  29. To each there own, I'm tired of the gasser look but you are to far to go back now

Never to far to go back, it's just metal. All of the interior is still all factory, rearend in those cars were junk anyway, 8.8 just being an upgrade, and the only thing I have cut out was frame rails.....they can be used for any thing. Going by your profile, your only 27...how in the world can you be tired of the Gasser Look. If you were a little kid, and grew up in the era like I did, it's an addiction. I think all Henry J's and Anglia's wanted to grow up to be a Gasser, then again, opinions are what makes the world go round :D Peace
