Last time I was in Biloxi, Katrina had just been there !!!
What a mess !! I hope that the area has bounced back and
that this event will be a good one.

Took a ride tonight down Highway 90 as far down as the Beau Rivage in Biloxi. Lots of cars, and the Edgewater Mall parking lot was where it was happening. A lady at the Waffle House told me that so far they've got 4,000 cars registered. I think this year will be the biggest since Katrina.

Guys watch where you stand if you're going to park. Was anyone at Edgewater Mall Monday night when some moron doing a full throttle burnout at the stop light lost control of his car? (turbo'd 240sx or similar I think, I was too busy shoving my kids out of the way to see for sure) The guy went up on the median and how nobody died i'll never know because there was a big crowd right where he left the road. I got literally sick because I was sure several people had bought it. I don't mind tire chirps, but some of the mustangs and ricers were going nuts Monday night making full throttle passes. I had just told my family lets get out of here before someone gets killed when the dude pulled that stunt. The few seconds that it took me to find my daughter in the aftermath probably took years off my life. An older lady near me fell trying to run and was stepped on by at least 2 people trying to get clear. This is not a post to stir up the pros and cons of doing burnouts...just a warning to be safe. I'm afraid a few loose nuts are going to ruin (end) the event for all of us.
