Who get's long distance award to Pileup?

    Just wondering how far away you will travel to a premiun show?

    Should be driven though. A lot of guys WILL trailer their cars nearby. Others will say they live in another state, but have other buisness local to the show anyway.

    So what you're asking is who will travel in the car they show the farthest distance just for the show.:D

    ooh, We're a "premium" show! :D I've heard of people driving in from NYC, AL, SC, TX, and OK this year. A few vendors are coming in from CA. A HAMBer is flying in from WA, and one of our bands is coming from the Netherlands. Last year we had people from 5 or 6 different countries.

    Myself, Fireball350, Ratcamino, and one other will be drivin 560 miles one way to get there. Lookin forward to every mile!

    I haven't done more than make laps around the block in the wagon since I've had it, and I think it's finally ready for the 3 1/2 hr trip down. That'll be my own personal long distance award.
     
  8. Thank god it's not me anymore. I think I was the only Texan at HCPU #2 and maybe #3
    It's good to be a local.

    550 miles here, but I'm ashamed to say I'm driving the daily driver... yeah I suck I know.
