  4. Looks like a Canadian Monarch steering wheel? One of the best Ford wheels going...

if you didn't have fun, you must have been somewhere else.

Had a great day. Only went up for the Saturday, cruised up with Peddro and Psycho hillbilly boi in the power house A.

Probably should have taken some photos but I was just enjoying the cruise up. Hadn't had the car out for ages so was nice to get some roadster time. The cruise back Saturday night was great the air was cool there was next to no traffic the sun was going down it and the sky was clear, nothing but the noise of a road eating flathead.

the Dirt Drags certainly added a new dimension. To Ryan Willo and co. I think the move was the best thing you could have done the new locations will ensure that it can grow over the years, and the addition of a parking area for 'not quite right' for the entry criteria is a good idea too. I'm guessing you guys are wrecked after the weekend, but you pulled off another great event.

the weather really did help, hate to think what the dirt drags would have been like if it was wet!

Already looking forward to next year, hell if I didn't get to another hot rod event this year I would be happy now.

  11. Thanks for the pics!
Now if you could only get the steering on the correct side.:D

  13. Lookn at more pics just gets me more excited! Cheers to Ryan and his crew for working hard not only with the magazine but for this show. Great to see a young guy getting hands on. I'm only young myself but its great seeing the passion just oozing out and all his hard work, and every that made it what it was.

My small contribution to Pics. A couple of the best Deuces of the weekend parked together.

Heyycharger went pretty wild with the camera so I'm awaiting his uploads.

  17. Not something I wanna see!!!!

I'll echo Corey's (Flatoz) sentiments. We went for the Saturday only and after a longer than normal trip up due to 63Compacts roadster being temperamental had a ball and an uneventful if somewhat cool drive home thankfully. Plan to be a bit more organized and camp next year. Too much going on to miss!

To Ryan, Willo and crew great show and perfect venue which should allow for more growth. I'm sure the oval would not have handled that many. Congrats.

This AD was cool to so I took a pic as it drove past - bit of inspiration for me to get the 55 1st done!

Thanks to all involved with Chopped - went last year for one day and loved it, came for the weekend this year and had even more fun! Will be back next year with the pickup for sure!

Scott - pretty sure it was custom. Unfortunately I didn't take any shots of the back.

Dirt races look like so much fun.

  27. It was our absoulute pleasure to take you boys for a ride, it reminds me when i was very young and went to my first Hot Rod Show, and a young hot rodder asked if i wanted to go for a ride around the show, i did and i have had the Hot Rod bug ever since.

To all involved Ryan and your team well done, to a couple of old sweaty boom bars from South Australia ,we had the time of our life.

Good times good friends in the great state of Victoria
