old alum. drag nose

    HELP identify this old race nose,I think it could be off a old drag car,but I have no Idea. its been around and has plenty of battle scars,at least three coats of paint. One coat looks like it could have been red. some one must of seen this thing go down the track at one time. Any imformation would be helpfull. thank you.

    For some reason.it screams front engine roadster to me. Id examine old roundy round car pictures..

  6. I'm sure I have seen that nose before. I will have a look at some mags tonight. It is likely a front engined lakes roadster nose.

    It's a scan from a old (61/62ish) HRM. I'll see if I can find it again. I'm pretty sure there was a caption.

    X2, find a T roadster and recreate that car now that it looks like it's been identified. That nose would be the hardest part of that vintage ride to build.

    Im setting here looking at this picture,and after looking at the front end in my shop for the last month. I cant beleve my eyes. How did you ever find that,I knew it must have came off something COOL Thanks
