Real custom pickup. Needs minor bodywork and a decent paintjob and we have a winner!

Perhaps you'd like to give me some tips on how to make my truck a 'winner' eh ?
I would hate to have my hard work so far go to waste !
    As for my paint...............with 50% flattener in it................................as Daddy Roth says....................."If i gotta explain..........you won't understand !!!"

    You, my friend, don't understand

Best event in the country - in the last five or six years anyway. When my Mrs. enjoys herself at an event like this you know blokes like Chatabox done something good.

Yeah, you're right, I don't know anything about paint. Who's Daddy Roth, anyway?

BTW: I DO like your truck! I am sure a lot of hard work and great skills were needed to get this far. I'm not saying I don't like the STYLE, I like a satin shine, I like the color, too. But the finish is not that great and as a kustom painter, I see a canvas in any car. I think scallops or panels would make this custom EVEN BETTER. I also understand why people don't create a show-winning paintjob, it's hard to do and expensive and it won't last when this is your daily driver so I'm not saying you should listen to anything I say. I was just voicing my opinion and I do respect your opinion, as well. No need to get angry.

That's a slightly hung over Mart in Old Rusty.

    Really enjoyed the Hayride.

What a great way to get myself murdered! I have been promising to take my wife to England one of these days and instead of taking her to the Palace, I could just show up with her at this great show. 'Course I won't survive the night as she's kill me!! Looks great!!

  12. Cool cars. The 34 5 window is cool. I think that less is more sometimes. A little too much lettering for my taste. I do need to know what kind car this is. It looks like it could have some excellent potential. How rare are these things? I am really digging the proportions,

There are ton of event photos posted up here on the HAMB, and looking at the pics most times is good enough for me. But this Hotrod Hayride just looks like it would be a blast to check out in person.
