This weekend was the "Relix Riot", here in Michigan at the Gilmore Museum, and if you missed it, you suck. Great cars, great bikes, great people, it's the best event we've been part of in years. A HUGE thanks and congratulations to Relix cc/mc for hosting this event, and to the happy couple, HAPPY HONEYMOON!

A little more about the show here:

My 9 year old daughter was running in a 5k, so my Dad duties came first.

    August! Great

Sorry Denise, that's the tentative schedule as the club has a chance to get the weekend at the museum that the Elvis run had for the last 25 years. There are only so many weekends available in the summer ya know!

Not all of us can make the Woodward cruise, nor want to.

I can certainly understand wanting to move the date to a another weekend I juat wanted to give ya a heads up as to what else is going on that weekend. Itms probably the weekend of Back to the Bricks in Flint and unless the GG changes their weekend again, it might be the same weekend as their Norwalk event. All events of coursae drawing possible participants, vendors and spectators away.

My car got crushed by a tree last Tues. Otherwise, I woulda been there.

  12. Yes, it was an awesome show! Best one I attended at Gilmore this year! It is a breath of fresh air to see a carshow where they are "real cars" and not a bunch of trailer queens! <flameproof suit on> :p

I'm just bummed I could not get my '53 there! I tried ... I got about 8 miles from home and the fuel stopped flowing to the carbs. $95 tow bill, back home to grab the DD then off to the show ... at least the 2nd time I was able to take my 3-1/2 year old who had a BLAST! Need to get out to the garage and see what's the deal ... blocked line, clogged filter, bad pump, etc. Oh well, there is always next year!

Here's my pics of the show:

I was heading up from the Ducktail Run show, but turned back to Indy, the rear tires had just too much vibration with a bad tire. I realy wanted to go, keep us informed on the date for next year.

Thanks for sharing. I would love to go but it is a little too far from Oregon for my gas and travel budget. Looks like a great show.

Well, it WAS a great Sunday Service (the Gospel according to Dennis Lesky ;)), but Matt as Jesus? I am not worthy...

Great show as always, they'll just keep getting better with time.

The venue is my favorite place this side of the mississippi river.

The Riot was prolly my favorite show of the summer! I really dig the location & the laid back atmosphere. We got to see old pals & meet a great bunch of folks that were serious about just having a good time.

I'm sure we'll be back for next year's party! We might even camp with the rest of the crazies!

IMHO, the 21st would be a better date than the 20th/Woodward/Bricks/etc slot. A Sunday event with trophies @ 3pm would still allow long distance folks to make it home before bedtime. Screw Woodward, I wanna hit the Bricks & being able to do 2 shows in the same weekend appeals to me!

Thx again for a great show!

You're right about that. This thing is killer, and it was built by a local guy.
