whats your winter car plans??

Get the body on the frame, glass cut and installed, wiring and gauges done, body primerd. I got to get my act together and get her on the road for next year.

 

I have a few. The 32 is getting 3 deuces, New valve covers and dist. I have to make one good cab out of two for my 54 along with setting the 351 and trans in. Of course there's the OT stuff to do in between too.

 

Maybe build a huge 1/6 scale gasser chassis for this '41 Willys....

 

Winter ??? Didn't that finish last month? I'm getting the Sunscreen ready, the Airconditioner in the house Serviced and Fillin' up the Beer fridge.

 

I hope this winther will be as hard as the last. one...no reason to go outside.Spend long days inside my shop finnishing the "inglese coupe".Finally done with the projects for other people..

 

Finish up the metalwork on the 54F100 project. Redo the seats. Be ready to paint it by spring.

 

Finally time to get the stinkin' '49 Chevy done (Deluxe). My plan is to have an "Unveling Party" on my B-day (May 27th).. Well go all out, invite alot of people and do a 50's costume thing... this puts the pressure on to get it done.. I work best under pressure.

Hoping to tackle the floors. If we accomplish that I may take off the red and see what kind of body work I am looking at. If we do that I will put it in primer until next winter when I hope to get going on bodywork and paint.

 

Heres one of my winter projects. Hopefully get the thing road worthy by late spring(we have snow till April here sometimes) Doesnt need much to get driving, just floors and brakes. I have to install some loops in the back seat to strap down a carseat.

Other plans for this car: hop up the flathead, Lowering, shaving, tail light swap, severe interior cleaning, WWWs... Chrome, Paint, and Interior will come over the next few winters...

i just made out a small list this morning for my daily 34 driver.
it started out a small list and its growing at least its just a bunch of little things. a good saturday should take care of it all but that'll turn into a months worth!!

 

im going to panel with white pearl lace the top of my galaxie and hopefully get a new set of wheels and tires!!
