Cowdry was 50 something when he raced the Blue Fox series of cars. The name Blue Fox derived from a burlusqe club

Background looks like somewhere in Florida?

I seem to recall Bo-Laws being on some 60's stock cars around Orlando/Daytona area.

Proud to finally be able to post pictures of my own car here in "drag cars in motion" After 45 years the MG made a few passes at the Dover drag strip nostalgia drags held at Island dragway this weekend. My avitar is from the last time it ran at Island back in 1965.

Pat,good to see you got the car on the track.Must have had a mile wide grin. How was the show?We ended up going to Lebanon Valley Nostalgia show.Saw the restored Hellzapoppin there.Thought that might have been down to Island.

Isn't that the track Bucky Austin was running and got into some $ problems?

I told someone that for me it was like winning the nationals. I can't wait for next year to start running it regularly.

The original chassis was a Lefty Mudersbach design, built by my buddy, Wayne Smythe of New Orleans. Boogie was intimately familiar with my car (he built our 1966 car) and I got him to build my recreation cackle car. Glenn - in Louisiana

Boogie towed my cackle car to Bakersfield for me last year. Here he and Bennie Osbprn are with me and my car at Bowling Green last June. Glenn - in Louisiana

  26. Sweet ride Glen!!! I've enjoyed seeing her cackle on youtube but sure would rather see you and her in person. You gonna be at the CHRR next year? I'm hoping to make down there next year with Stan292. We'll towing mine behind my Plymouth Suburban.

On a different note I spent some time talking to Bennie this summer at the KKOA deal in Salina and really enjoyed our time. A real down to earth car guy.

    Cool.
I had one of Boogies old cars.
It lives in Cali now and goes by the name Helter Skelter.
It made the cover of Vintage Fuel Magazine a few years back.
