Kinda simple compared to some of the other stuff posted, its the center of a headliner.

That looks great! Nice design. Good job on the bevel around the edge - that makes everything look so much more finished.

Is there a tool that does the screw hole bevelling?

Love the work in this thread. I am going back out into the shed to get artistic.

  7. What die did you use for the raised screw holes? Looks great.

I just went through this whole thread from the beginning... dayum.
Talk about inspiration! Incredibly informative, too--you guys showing the rest of us how to do it is fantastic.

I've had plans for a bead roller like Kiwi-Kev's, and have been looking for an engine stand as a donor for the base. I've got a HF "starter kit" and plan on cannibalizing it for the dies and drive gears, and making a roller that will reach to the middle of a pick-up box, specifically so I can do the floor in the back of my '61 Suburban.
I love the idea of those diamonds or pleats for the interior panels of my gasser, too.

Thanks for everyone who contributed to this thread!

Geeze!!!! You guys are insane! Just built my first one and did the floorboards in my Shoebox. What and where do you get the dies for the artsy stuff you guys do? I'm no artist but would love to try and learn!

Great work mcjamey! The fish scales and rat fink hair looks amazing. Are you using a sharp top die and soft lower die to do those?

Well here is my best effort so far in my quest to master the art of bead rolling. I have recently added a home brewed VSR motor and foot pedal to my BR and it has greatly improved my ability
In the pictures is a rear panel I made for a friends 1963 Mini Cooper build. Please feel free to leave any comments and especially any tips and tricks from the pros on here to help further improve my skills
