chevy timing marks

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by flamedcoupe, Sep 21, 2010.

  1. just finished a t bucket for action girls hubby but can't get the timing mark any closer to zero than miles away. 350 4 bolt .I checked the timing mark with other balancers and the outer hub of the balancer has has not moved. If you look at the balancer fron the front the engine seems to fine at the11 o'clock position as oppose to the straight up or the 1 o'clock position. any suggestions?

Wrong pointer would be my guess. Get a timing tape.
