Hey guys, my dad just purchased a 1929 Model A RPU. It came with a really nice convertible top frame, but its a one piece and doesn't fold down. I thought they came with a folding top originally. If anyone has some pics or info on how the top and top bows are supposed to be it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jeff

Good article in the latest Street Rodder magazine on a chopped folding top. Good pictures too.

As well you should do a search on here. I found lots of good top pictures and details too.

Check out a thread called "Back in Black RPU project" that's one that comes to mind.

The 28/29 RPU tops didn't fold.

  5. The original tops did not fold but LeBaron Bonney, lebaronbonney.com, is making one that folds down for your truck.

The brookville company makes a really nice stainless steel frame ready to bolt on. You just have to put the material on.
