Went to Lima for the Rebel Run Car Show and got some good pics to share with everyone, hope you enjoy!!!
Nice pics LowMerc, I was there also, but my battery was dead in my camera when I pulled it out so I didn't get any pics.
There sure was a lot of nice mercs at this show. Alot of different colors, and from several different states. This is a really good show, and i never miss it. Your car is really lookin good lowmerc, and you can't beat those flames or that 6" chop. I will be seeing you around. Cruise on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Up close that was a pretty bad Marilyn impersonator. Elvis being late had a few people ticked off on Saturday ha. That's kind of his "thing". He's late every year. My '65 F100 won the Burnout Contest. Thanks for everyone who screamed their heads off in the Grandstands. Wife's '63 Falcon won Best Horn and Best Car Nickname. Good times! See ya again in 2011.
I don't know who chopped this '51 but man did they get it right....Not excited about the color but they did a good job on the top. I need to head North East some day.... Happy Trails, Mick
The pic of the mustang doesnt do it justise!!! You have to see this one in person. Kelly chopped it and sectioned it. Did all the work himself, one man band from build to polish!!!! Check out the buld pics on Ricksters site under Kelly Puckett. The car has every aspect of a custom, yet out of its league by virtue of what it started out as. Its chopped, sectioned, has the rear pan and subfloor of a late model mustang with an 8.8 rear, torque tube front suspension so 428 cubic inches would fit under the hood and between the shock towers, handmade taillight panel, etc, etc!!! BITCHIN pics thanks for posting
A lot of nice pics! Seeing as how I went as well, and have some pics, I'll throw mine in the bunch too.
