This is the old beater I'm starting out with, the 283 is in the shed on the stand waiting for a build. a lot of sweat equity ahead but I'm going to make a nice truck out of it given enough time

Not as of right now. But I would like to soon. I'd like to bring the 65 over for one of the car shows at the town square.

That would be cool. I'd love to see your truck cruising here in NM.

It's all good. :) You know what they say opinions are like. It's amazing how many looks you can go with on 60-66's. From old school to modern... IMO, wide whites look good on 60-63's. The wrap around windshield and cab forward design still has some fifties flavor, making the www more at home. We also have a '65 in the family...that one has black walls and rallys.... pics of that one are on this thread somewhere...

Here are a few update photos of my 60 GMC. Painted the wheels black, added a passenger side spotlight and Unity backup lights. The rear end got 2 ½ inch Jeep lifting springs, which actually lowered the rear about an inch and dramatically softened the ride. The interior got a new Sun retro tach head, along with new shift knob and dash knobs. The rest is pretty much the same.
