Does anyone know where I can find the information on what year, make, and model a GM 10 bolt rear end came out of? I have many different casting numbers off it but can't seem to find too much decoding.

Look for a stamped number on the axle tube. Should be a long sequence of numbers/letters, 5-8 digits. And also post all the cast numbers you can find on it. And a few good pictures of the complete rearend.

Like Jim said..... look of the front of the pass side axle tube. There 'should' be a stamping. I've had to use sandpaper to find them sometimes. (About 6" over from the 'pumpkin')
