my nice engine

    Well guys hi is been long time, like to say the my truck break dowm with 2 pistons busted and , Am not a mechanic or a painter , but with a book i guess you can do miracles.
    I decide to work in my engine paint and do some nice , i guess, work.
    The head was mill 60 for previous problems, so i have the block the decide to use and put .040 over pistons, work my !@#$%^&* off for 2 weeks and this is my result :eek::eek::eek::eek:

  3. Those are good engines. Is it a 230ci ? 60 off the head is just the right amount for a good compression boost.

    Now you have to polish the carb and sediment bowl.

    Looks nice.

    Looks fantastic, detail the carb etc and maybe if you turn the thermostat housing around it'l get the kink out of the hose?

    2 Weeks and that's the end result? Looks like time well spent to me. Love seeing people take time on the old stuff and use it! Awesome job.
