    Hi Guy's,

Just got back from a swap meet near Houston with my buddy. We got some killer deals. Mine was a Miller Plasma Cutter for $75 just tried it out and it works perfectly and my buddy got a new repo fender for his 58 Apache for $20. Was wondering what other killer deals people have got.

    Complete '58 348 tri-power, manifold, carbs, linkage......$575

  5. Unity Lights I picked up at Longest Yard Sale in Tennessee. I did not really want them, but knew some HAMBr would. Sold them on HAMB Classifieds for minimum profit. He got a deal, and it only cost me a little time.

Years ago, a pair of BB -206 heads bare for $75.

He, He!! It was later in the day on Sat at SC Indy and he was a big guy and pitched the pair over the chain link fence so I didn't have to pack each one like 150 yards to my car!

We were both tickled, he dumped them on me and I got a set of BB -206's that I wanted cheap, imho...

Quite a while back, but purchased a complete set of paint chips done in 1933 (all makes). These went back about 7~8 years. Asked the vendor how much? He said 10 bucks. I almost ripped the flap off my jeans getting out my wallet.

Not sure if your talking about the best deal or favorite deal.

Nevertheless it had to be at the Frog Follies several weeks ago. I found a '50 chevrolet truck cab that was perfect, yes perfect. Original non-repaired without a speck of rust, or any dents whatsoever.

I have a couple of these cabs but both need minor repairs. Now this one is nothing like what I am accustomed to finding anywhere east of the Mississippi.....................

    Ten or more years ago:
Was walking around Niagara swap meet and didnt see any thing that caught my eye, so my dad and I were heading out empty handed. Just as we were about to walk out of the gate an old timer called out us "You guys drag racers" ( my dad had on a T-shirt that said "happiness is drag racing") so we slowly responded "Yea why?" he sais "I got one drag racing part"
He goes into his truck and pulls out a never used Mark Williams 9inch Ford 35 spline light weight spool.(about a $300.00 peice) He tells us its a 1950s Pontiac racing transmision part. We listened to his misinformed story for a minuet and he ended by saying "gimme 5 bucks for the thing" I won the race to my pocket and bought it thanked the guy and walked out the door.
The second guy I passed in the parking lot approched me and offered $250.00 for the spool.:)

Needed a green arm rest for a Roadrunner about 20 years ago. I looked all over and couldn't find one. I was at the Mopar Nats back when it was in Indy and walked by a vendor that had a bucket full of them. He had one that was the right color and was really nice. His price was $5. I offered him $3 and the answer was "no, I've been selling them for $5 all day". It was hot, the end of the day and really all I had in my pocket was $3... and an ice cold beer I had just gotten out of my cooler in my hand.

I offered $3 and the ice cold beer... and got the armrest!

Bought a '66 BSA hornet at a swap five years ago for 125.00 delivered to downtown phoenix! He had wanted 700.00, and asked me what I had in my pocket, 'cause he was tired of hauling it, and I was the only person who knew what it was!
