Question on this old tailgate

My wife's cousin has this tailgate and was wondering if anybody could tell what year ford truck it fits on, and is it worth any thing? it's 47" x 14 1/2"

I don't think it's a lot different than my '49 dimension - wise but mine has crude end hinges, not the strap type you have, pegs on the ends. No matter, they are all cool. Seems like the multiple strap hinges would bind when bent a bunch as pickup parts do
