Craigslist 40 coupe find

I bought this off craigslist yesterday. 99 percent rust free and very straight. Just missing rear fenders and motor and trans every thing else is there. It was a fair price and was listed for two weeks and didn,t sell. I cant believe it. Looking for rear fenders if you know of any for sale. There are still good ones out there . Danny

Thats a "Magic Mushroom" painted on the rear deck. Make sure you leave that on, its very traditional in psychedelic drug circles. Great deal.

 

You should have seen the crap on the side I primered over. Some tagger must have been wasted when they did it.

I saw that one on craigslist myself. I really didn't give it much thought. After seeing this thread I went out to the garage and realized how much work my tub needs and am a bit depressed. If you don't mind, can you PM me what you paid for it, so I can add to a reasons to drink a few beers this weekend?

private property like homes, cars, churches schools, etc... yes, kick the shit out of them, but public property that i pay for why not!? human kind has been "tagging" on walls since cavemen walked the earth. sorry to get off topic just my personal opinion....

Hi Gary. I do still have the duece. Havnt done much with it. I was able to buy a 1939 deluxe couple a few months back so I have a driver for now. I bought the forty just to have since I had to at the time sell the other one to you, By the way you did a fantastic job on that car. Hope you have been enjoying it this summer. Take car. Danny

 

paint over the side tagging but you should keep that on the truck for a while. It's cool.
