OK....We're gonna try a change of scenery..... This Sunday 9/12/2010 we are meeting at 12:00 Noon for some lunch and B.S.ing at the newest location of the.... 925 Holcomb Bridge Rd in Roswell............ 12:00 NOON. Same bunch of delinquents, same witty banter. As always...everyone is welcome, just bring a sense of humor! Hope to see some new faces!
this is going to get a lot more expensive. now instead of 50 cent coffee I have to buy many beers at a little higher rate. the banter will be more entertaining though with beer involved.
Circus Bear told me about this the other day and I like it! Gonna make it a lot easier for me to get there and do my thang on the race write up. But this Fri. & Sat night we're having a joint high school class reunion for the classes of '53-' 59, plus on Sunday some of us are getting together for lunch. Some of these folks I haven't seen in over 50 years and they are coming from all over the US. I told the track to find someone else to do the writeup this week. Some of them I'll probably never see again, so I'm gonna have to miss the inaugural on this. It's a great idea and I like it, but this time I can't make it. Dave
Make sure that reunion doesn't get too crazy D.O.M. We were tossing around some other names, my favorite was HAMB & Haggis, but in the end we just decided on a slight modification to... HAMB & G.R.I.T.S.
I wasn't there, but the discussion over on SFCC social group is not favorable on a repeat there, and there has been a subsequent breakfast back at the Skillet in Roswell. Dave
