Event Coverage kalamazoo swap meet and car show

just wondering how many of us are going. would like to meet and talk to and meet new people. the swap meet and car show if friday sat and sun. i am going friday to get get some stuff at the swap meet and sat to look at the cars.

 

I'll be set up in the swap meet, come meet me and buy stuff.

I'll be there all weekend, mainly for the show, but I do my shopping on Friday

I am fairly confident that it will be the only 1933 Buick out there,......

 

I had no idea this was going on....I may work my way up there on Saturday. If you see a hoodless F-1...it is probably me. If you wonder how the hell the hoodless F-1 made it up there...it is for sure me!

Where in K-zoo is this all happening? The fair grounds?

 

Is it easy to pay at the gate ? Can you get off I 94 to Lake street ?

I'll be looking for you guys, we're heading up Saturday morning! Don't miss the hotels Saturday night, it is almost as good as the show!
I agree all you Hambers that have swap should display a sign so us shoppers can support ya!

 

If you're coming from Detroit direction, take the I-94 business loop in. (exit 81)
take a RIGHT when it crosses lake st.

 

I'll be there with several of our SJVSR club members. We'll also have our usual swap spaces. Looking forward to meeting some of you.

 

stop at the Clarion on Cork, just off of Sprinkle road. That is where the registration is at, then make your way to the fairgrounds

 

Even on Sunday, the day of the show !

 

vehicle registration is Thursday 2-6, Friday 9-6, and Saturday 9-2

I am talking about show car registration, may be different for swap meet vendors. If you are going as a buyer or spectator, then just go to the gate at the fairgrounds

 

Well that leaves me out, im not driving from Detroit On Sat, just to register. Just want to drive, over, and back on Sunday.

 

Saturday would be the day to go, Sunday would have at least 1/3rd less people there

all the deals are gone in the swapmeet by Sunday....

 

Just informed by Millersgarage, that Sat would be a better day to go.

I won't be there but my car will! My bud at Hoosier hot rods is taking it up to sell. Look for the black '32 roadster-full fendered with flat red scallops. Somebody please buy it! I need the money to finish my Stude gasser! Normal Norman

 

I am not taking any of my rods. I am not paying $55 to park with a bunch of late model Chevys. I will be at the swap meet on Saturday,looking for flathead and hemi parts.

 

Ew. After a quick look at the weather, I think I will be staying in town. A lack of wiper blades and a hood that bolts down makes rain suck!

I will see if pops wants to head up in the Lightning instead.

 

Rain or shine, tornado or hail (seen it all in Kzoo)... I'll be there drivin my A' Sedan. I'm gonna try to get through the swap meet Fri, I'll be in 29 Below Sat and wandering the buildings Sun...
