Gennie Shifter question

Since Gennie is going out of business I need to try and get the parts required for my build somewhere.

I have a 700R4 transmission.
Is the gennie low stick shifter universal or is there a specific model # for the 700R4?

 

The detent plate is what dictates the tranny. If I remember right, I changed a Gennie C4 to a T350 and a Lokar PG to a 350? All I did was buy a new plate.

 

OK so if they are NOT going out of business, then who has them?

I spent a good part of the afternoon trying to find a GM low stick shifter and no one has them (or any other parts) and they also can't promise any delivery dates.

I hate paying for items that are going to be on backorder for 6 months or until the supplier gets their act together.

Maybe this will work for you. I have never used one but it looks like it would do the job.

 

I found the C4 detent plate if there is anyone out there that needs it. This means you can buy any Gennie and swap plates to a C4 if that is what you are running. Can mail it out.
