Cruising returns to Van Nuys Blvd

i was there last week and there was guys dragging and burnjng out in front of cops and the cops didn't even acknowledge that anything was happening

 

Hey Rob, I am sorry I missed the fireworks! I hear there was some DRAMA on the HAMB, and was busy at the cruise last night and missed it! I hope everything is OK with you and that you are doing well.

The cruise on the 14th was my first time out there. I had a fuckin blast. Hearin my dad tell stories about cruisin Van Nuys back in the late 60's and early 70's warped my mind from a young (and apparently influential) age. Though, I gotta say, some of those idiots out there racin and doin burn-outs, trespassing to find a place to park, etc, etc. The cops may be puttin up with it for now, but they're gonna get tired of it and the blvd. will once again be hung with "NO Cruising" signs. That will be disappointing as all fuck. I don't give a shit what people do, but they're gonna ruin it for everybody. Just sayin.

 

we can whine and bitch about it dude but noone will listen to us. And those that do that shit don't go on the HAMB anyways so how are we going to tell them?

 

I know man.. But if there's one place I can whine and bitch, and at least get it off my chest, might as well be here.

 

I hope we can keep the drama in the bars and the hotrods on the HAMB...........just sayin.............

It's turned into a fun cruz 150 or so cars.

 

So much fun it'll be shut down soon because people can't maintain and not work their hydros, drag bumpers and drive around in circles in the middle of the street. Or not do burnouts because they're sooooo cool. Yeah lotsa fun.

I was talking about the Lyons cruz in santa clarita. but it is what it is on Van nuys. you can gripe and grumble on the computor or do something about it if it bothers you so much. cops seem to be cool with the muscle car crowd.
