    Hey, My name's Matt and I'm 20.

    I've just started rodding a 1947 Morris commercial LC3 onto an 1987 Hilux chassis running a straight LPG Holden red 253 and a Trimatic... That's the plan anyway.

    I've rebuild 2 and 4 stroke engines and am mechanically minded... but the rust removal/repair is proving an interesting challenge :)

    Thanks Big Bad John, Rod and LIFESTYLZ

    I tried uploading photos to my HAMB album but all except one fail. Photobucket to the rescue I guess;

    Welcome fellow Victorian. Keep the project pics flowing through as it evolves.

  7. Pretty tidy looking cab.
    Needs chopping though.

    The photos don't show the bad bits unfortunately. Underneath is ugly and where the windscreen bolts on in some spots it's paper thin and holes. The back edges of the front guards are falling apart too.

    I would love a chop but I think I'm going to have enough trouble getting the '47 cab up to '87 design rules for engineering.

    Welcome aboard, from a fellow Victorian. Keep the faith and enjoy the ride. If something gets too hard, take a step back and tackle something else, until you get help or advise.
    Just keep the picture in your head of you cruzin down the road in your finished ride.
    (Worked for me.)
