Event Coverage A few Invasion Pics and two other shows...

I just put up a few Invasion pics on my blog and I also hit two other shows today...the Dallas Mopar Show and the DFW Cars and Coffee.

The other two shows have some non HAMB stuff but some on topic stuff too. Don't click on them if you don't like muscle cars, exotics, and such..stick with the Invasion pics!

How were the bands?

 

I messed up and forgot my camera but still got a couple shots on the phone. Zablowski's bird is the absolute coolest custom early T-bird of all time.

 

Thank you Eric, I wish I could have had the car running for the show, (I did get it running and took it for a maiden voyage early this morning!) but thanks to George, I was able to have the coupe at the Invasion show after being in hibernation for over 30 years. And the real treat was the awesome award! I think my laptop hard drive crashed so I can not down load any pics. Thanks for your updates Byron, it looks like you covered some miles yesterday!

My first time to attend 29Jay insisted that I go. Man was I stoked! Great show, great cars, great people and even better weather! Way to go THEM! See ya next year.

I was surprised too, but I am not complaining because the trophy is absolutely bitch'n!
One of my favorites was the copper T Bird, that was so cool.

What car was yours?

 

Green 48 F1. I saw a tremendous amount of work in the Copper Bird. I liked the trophys too. I guess I missed them if they were on display before they gave them out only saw them when they handed to the guys.

 

thanks Merc...there were a few folks that made both shows...myself for the third year...maybe the o'avitar could make both shows next year and keep me from going back to the shop to change cars...

 

We'll have to agree to disagree then....might have been nicer cars, but those nicer cars have also been around a long time. It's nice to see something fresh around here for a change and not another rat rod pickup build.

 

But then again 1 person's idea of a "rat rod pickup" might not be in anothers eyes.

 

Chris's cars are the real deal.

Your right about that in a sense, I would not even insult rat rods by calling that S-10 thing a rat rod.

 

I have fun and enjoy the cars and watching people check them out there were some nice cars there and that T bird was off the hook !!

The show was awsome, Lots of great cars, people, and music. I will most definitely be back next year!
