there is gonna be a model table thats free to enter ,,, challenge to all.......... who has the baddest or is that the goodest,,,, im bringing a edsel lowrider so bring one or two to the show,lets see em, what ya got?? its free oh yea theres going to be a trophy..................
ok i heard the trophy is best of show, models..........its the same as the others in the show on a moon disc and it is bad ass,,candy red i think and i cant win it cause my club is the sponsor f---...but im still bringing 2 or 3.......
Yeah man, I went over to Grindel's place today to drop off some artwork. He is kicking major ass on all the trophies for Ventura Nats as always. I was super stoked to see that the trophy for the model car category is a full-sized badass pinstriped disc just like all the other ones! Very cool. Too bad none of us can win it. haha. Oh well, somone is going home with a kickass trophy for their model car submission. C'mon Hambers! Lets make this category nice for John. I know some of you build some cool models. Put it in a box, bring it to ventura, and maybe come home with a kickass trophy!
I wanted to go but couldn't make it, but there may be an article on the model show in a future issue of Kustom & Hot Rod Models magazine if I get photos sent to me.
Cool show this weekend!Too bad I couldn't have stayed for sunday. I was stoked that 2 of my cars won awards.It was my first time ever entering a model car contest.It was fun! Hope somebody post some pic's.
