Saving the 33 for the birthday run. It has always been my goal to drive my coupe by my B-day.

Plus, there is nothing like the view from a roadster, and this years run has some spectacular views.

O.K., I have just reread Denise's guide to posting pics on here. I think I got it right from now on.

 

Here's some of the carnage from the run. At one point my transmission decided it didn't like the reverse idler gear.

What a great day! You really put together an interesting trip for us. Wine country, Clearlake, Cloverdale. Great roads, cool people and a bunch of awesome hot rods. Thanks for making this a Labor Day tradition. I put on over 400 miles yesterday, and had a smile on my face for every one of them.

In 1988 I drove a 41 Chevy Coupe 1000 miles to Wyoming. Every stop for gas or food someone would want to talk about old cars. It was a great experience.
