If you like driving your Hot Rod on country roads with a bunch of other great Hot Rods
then this is a good time.

This event is free ............except your gas and food for your self.

Hi Rich,
This is not a flathead only run. You are welcome to come along for the drive.

With only a 327, you may have a hard time keeping up with some of the flathead powered cars, or at least that is what I have heard in the past.

There have been a few other hot rods from the San Jose area in the past.

you can zoom in to see the plaza, it is on the corner of healdsburg ave. and plaza street

Scouted the route yesterday. There are some epic views and roads I am sure some of you have never been on.

Really looking forward to it.

Well I drove the run on Saturday and I think it is really gonna be a good one.

I must be driving a little hard because I sheared off both pins on the driveshaft coupler and had the drive shaft sliding forward and hitting the tranny out put shaft.

I made it home and pullled it a part to find the pinion jam nut sitting there loose.

Turns out the Vern Tardel torque tube baffle failed and hit the jam nut knocking it loose.

Glad I took it apart to fix it before the run.

nothing like blowing apart your car right before the run.

all back together now and waiting anxiously for the weekend.
