I have a 354 hemi at the machine shop and I am waiting on a call about the condition. We should know in a couple of weeks how things are going to come together.
The Martian hit the ground Saturday morning at the 2010 drags with all four wheels, picked some more of the donated parts. The real work starts this Tuesday.
Looks good with the cragers. You did get hooked up with the Raven right? I haven't heard from him since Saturday. If not I guess I'll find out from him. Not to be concerned I have to go to Tulsa next month anyway I can get the pieces a whole lot closer to you then.
After the Drags we had a change of plans and needed a little help loading. Thanks guys. I also found out what Fiat stands for, Thanks to a guy in the audiance, Fits In A Truck. Looks like he was right.
Looks like a good excuse to make another run through your shop next time I'm in town, maybe Root will bring me by there again. Good luck on the build.
Very cool, wish I could be there to see it run. Be sure to post some video of the first run for us 'out of towner's'. Good luck, Doc.
It was great to see everyone again (even if I was about to pass out from exhaustion), and I can't wait to see that thing run next year!
Update: today was spent fitting the front hood to the front body, lots of hammer & dollying. Machine shop is working on the block & heads, hemis cost a lot to fix up. More to follow. Pooch & Torx41
