It's got a small mural of a bikini girl riding a spark plug but I can't quite remember what it says underneath. It was on the car when I got it. I guess that's the car's name :D

Of course, I've had names for every one of my cars ever since the '60's...if you didn't have a name on your car back then, you simply weren't a "car guy"...

I have always named my cars. My 54' Customline is Betty..Ford.

  11. Money Pit would fit my build pretty good.

  12. My buddy, Tom gave me my car's name....Shasta.
Shasta have gas, shasta have oil, shasta have repairs etc

  13. All my cars have names, the official name and then there are the other names that they aquire depending on the situation.

I keep vasilating on the name for my current. Craklin Rose came to mind at one point. But I think the latest was Mal Aire. That may change also when it is rolling and I get a better fell for my sentiments.

Oh I left out my parts hauler we have been calling it the anti-rod. Sort of a bibical play on words.

I've always wondered why people name their cars. It's not like it will come if you call it so what's the point? Like the old joke," What do you call a dog with no legs?".

The '51 will have a name, but I haven't had her long enough to settle on one yet. Got a couple prospects, but nothing has jumped out in front as of yet.

All of my rides have names except the current project I am working on. I have just about settled on the name Alimony.

Thats what the purchase of him almost got me into.............:D

My wife and kids name my vehicles, most times they help name themselves.

1949 F-2, kids named it "Ooga Truck" when they were little because I has a ooga horn.

1948 F-1 panel, named Hixton because I got the my original panel out of Hixton, WI. I got rid of the original truck before finishing and bought this more complete truck and the name with just transferred over.

1951 F-4 flatbed, named itself. My wife wanted to name it and as we were looking at the front we noticed a extremely faint "ROGER" painted on the panel above the grill.

1937 Buick, my wife named it Daisy, after the movie Driving Miss Daisy. It reminds my wife of the big cars driven in the movie.

Whenever I'm working on one I find alternative names to call them, most aren't proper in mixed company.

Mines name is "the Blind spot" appropriate due to it being so small, 37in tall now.[IMG]

The Impala in the avatar has been refered to as "The Pacific Princess", "the Street Barge" and "the Boat" among others. Since it's white I've been called "Toad" on more than one occasion.
