I can't even imagine the pain of losing a daughter. You can't get over it ever, but you will get on some after a while. Lost my wife a year ago, lost my best friend on the HAMB, still hurt bad.

ONLY thing I can tell you...the BEST thing that happened, thge ONLY thing that felt like healing, was a dinner for all the people who knew my wife, with each person giving a little bunch of memories.
DO IT as soon as you feel able; you will have people who knew her in school, at work, the times you don't know as much about, and just knowing that others knew her and miss her will help immeasurably. Friends and family are the only people who share the pain and the memories. Gettem together.

My condolences. You should finish the car,and name her faith in honor of your daughter. I think her saying you'd never finish it was her way of pushing you to finish it. The old reverse psychology trick.

Sorry to hear that, I get my daughters this weekend (ages 17 and 15) and I will do something extra special for them just because of how bad I feel for your loss.

this brought a tear to my eyes. I know your pain and the hole that it leaves in your heart forever. My condolences go out to you and your family. We lost our daughter in 92 just before her third birthday. Lean on everyone that will support you and draw strength from the loved ones around you.

I'm sorry for your loss. She's in a better place now. Build the car and make her proud.

 

As the others have said, I too am truly very sorry for your loss, friend. there's nothing that will replace that loss, however among a million other little things, there is another thing that will make you think of her...and that's the car that she said you'll never finish, but always deep down that you would. So finish that car, mikhet, and drive it for her...she'll be watching you, believe me.

 

OH Man that is the worst hurt. And there are no words to stop the hurt. All I can say is I;m sorry
