hey guys, hey dude.just a few quick dusty pics of the project i started in early feb...the 57 had no motor, trans, or front suspension.i took this car off the frame wirewheeled it and painted it, all the brakes were done, fuel tank relocated, i put in a 460 motor with a c6, it has a tall shifter, i just finished the floors and trans tunnel and covered it with thick undercoating, i put 56 lincoln headlight buckets in the front end, that is a mocked up 56 packard bumper with a stock 57 lincoln pan, also mocked in the back is the split 57 dodge bumpers, the car is lowered 3 inch in the back and 2 inchs in the front, i have many plans for this car, including a 4 inch haircut coming in the fall/winter. i know a great customizer named kevin danny who will be cutting my wraparound glass for me. the head and taillights will be peaked, and the decklid will be cornered.the dash is painted limon glow pearl. the body will be that plus a pearl white roof.my black and white tuck n roll interior is getting finished by my friends lovely mom!!! the side scoops will be extended a little, and the rear of the car willl be getting a lexan and stainless tubing grill.bla bla bla...[/IMG][/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]well just wanted to share this with you all!!!
What are you going to do with the rear glass if you chop it? You can't really cut that like a windshield. And the windshield will be a tricky cut by itself. I'm interested to know. Looks like a cool custom project though. I like the Packard bar and the split bumpers.
you slimey bastard, you've got 1 month to get this car on the road! im excited for this car for some reason alot of people sink the back the rear window into the trunk...or maybe lexan?
Cut into the roof and lay the glass down. Supersized, you have the same amount of timer to get yours done as well!
