Awesome pictures. I was wondering, since the lake bed is so flat, or not, is there a crew that grooms the area where the runs take place?

  2. Great pictures! Almost like being there.

Everyone I know is also a Canon fan. I've had Nikons since 1971, so they just become comfortable.
I sure am having a tough time not using film.
I still don't have the feel for digital yet. The different features, etc. are still foreign to me, which kills me.
I'm just scratching the surface of what these cameras are capable of.
    Fun though!

    Great Pix Doug!

    Hey - it's the Brew 120!
I wonder if my friend Gerry is driving in this shot:

Funny story about that car... They bought the 223 Ford in there from me. Stuck a 750 cfm 4bbl and a header on there and took it to El Mirage and ran it. From what I have heard it ran great!

    Those morning shots are amazing.

WOW Doug! I, like Bobby ran at the salt this year, but never seem to have the time to "scope out" the event.
Thank you so much for your perspective (it's late, I think I spelled that right :) ). Great work.

    Thanks again

The Stringfellow and Kirk car above got airborne. Never got upside down, just did a bunch of "touch and go" landings. Speed was approx. 250 at the time. Took an hour or more to clean parts off course.

Stunning, Stunning photos! Thanks for taking the time to post those.

The pics are a real treat for those that can't make it. Every year I say I am going next year. One of these years before I die...
