Dumb question, but how much is it to park & to get into the swapmeet? I'm thinking that were going to be there on Friday. Were kinda' crunching penny's this year @ the Drags spending $250 for two night at the hotel.

good advice that intersection is wei:eek:rd

  9. That diverging diamond thing, once you get the hang of it, it works like a charm. The traffic flow at that intersection used to be a complete disaster with back ups and wrecks but the traffic flow now is smooth as silk. It worked so good in fact that they have now put another one on the south side of Springfield at another major intersection with good results again. After about 2 trips through it you will get the hang of it. These were the first 2 in the U.S. so they are wierd at first. Welcome to the Ozarks!
    Later,
    Dick

  10. The only thing I got was a $1 Gilligan hat and heat stroke.

  11. Yeah......it was HOT at the swap meet.
Saw lots of stuff for Fords and Chevys.........as usual, not much for
an old Plymouth. I spent only $16 for car related stuff, but did not
see a thing specifically for the car. Went with a friend.....he didn't
    find much either.

However, a lot of guys were carrying around stuff.......so some people
    found goodies.

    What prizes did others score??

We bought a ton of good stuff, including an artillery wheel, a Moon pedal, an Eelco pedal, a 235 engine, 55 and 57 Chevy pu grilles, rubber floor mat for my Malibu, argent silver paint for wheels, and etc. It was a really good one as usual. Will be posting photos when I get home. Very hot and humid here. Forecast for drags is 99 and humid.

The swap was a great time,, I bought a ton of items I have been looking for and then still buying radios. I think I stopped at every space and found 39 of them. Ill definitely be back next year,,
