New to the forum and just started driving my 1951 Ford Club Coupe Custom Deluxe. Got the car a few months ago from a friend and just went to the Midnight Mass show. Had the best time!. This forum has been a huge help in getting the car back on the road. thanks HAMBER'S!!

thanks guys. Here's a pic of my car. one of the cool things that I found in the trunk was the original reciept from when the car was first purchased. It was bought for $1857.65 with four options: radio $83.23, heater $61.15, turn indicator $14.04 and windshield washer $9.17 for a total of $2095.00. It was bought December 19, 1951 in redwood city at Towne Motor Company.. kinda cool to still have the reciept

I lowered the rear with de-arched springs and some blocks and the front has dropped spindles and the coil springs are from a 1990ish ford aerostar with new shocks. The coil springs and shocks was one of the many things I learned from the HAMB members. The car had cut coils on it before and it was scarry to drive. so much bump steer and bounce I felt I was hardley in control.

Hi Dave, thats cool that your in the pic.. I'd love to chop it but, right now I have been having a great time cruising it around and I don't want to take it off the road yet. I want to roll it to Billet Proof in Sept and then I can do something major to it over the winter.
