The Healey is beyond awesomwe. I'd raise the back of the windshield a tad but after that driving the wheels off it would be next.

That's actually just the stock windshield in its folded position. It has a hinge and a set of forward posts so it can be laid flat like that.

Gon-Sales? I like it! but it's actually spelled Gunsaulis.

John's Australian Phaeton is one of my all-time favorite's as well, and it has one bitchin' sounding four banger in it. Plus it's on my favorite Deuce List: The 75 Most Significant 1932 Australian Ford Model B Deluxe Phaeton's ever built.

 

I knew it was spelled funky. How were the drags?

 

They were awesome! They made three full passes with the Funny Car for the first time and qualified 10th out of the 20 cars that showed up. Lost first round, but at least they finally have some actual run data for the car. All in all, a pretty good weekend for the first time out with the car. By the way, every time Marc came up to run his Pro Mod Camaro at the drag race Boise, the track announcer would talk about how Goodguys was putting on a huge event in Spokane that same weekend and Marc was skipping out on the event to drag race in Boise. Thought you'd get a kick out of that, since you were working the Spokane event.

How'd you slept through the Freund's BBQ on Saturday? I'm guessing things must have gotten a little out of hand at Thee Inland Emperors Make-Out Party on Friday night. It was great catching up with you on Thursday night, before I headed out of town. Also it looks like I'll be heading down for the California Hot Rod Reunion, October 15 - 17 in Bakersfield, CA. If you want to go I can stop by and pick you up on my way down, just let me know. Here's a few picture of the car from through out the weekend
