Love the dash Russ and I can't wait for mine to be as low as yours is THR1LL3R. Both are beautiful cars.

I know a lot of guys don't like the looks of Chopped business coupes, And I've heard all the reasons why, but I really like them....I like the short roof and the long trunk, It's just a personal taste thing......If anybody has any more pix of chopped coupes, I would like to see them......Thanks.....

    hey man,
its outta there but havent got windows back in it yet :D But my plan is to cut out the vent channel, make my own window channel and use a 66 mustang rear window reg, still have to make some templates up but im hoping it will work. Definitely dont want fixed rear glass!

I will be reproducing Merc style grille surrounds for shoebox Fords- I know that there are a few of us here that like Merc surrounds, I'm just trying to make them easier to find!

I am still new to the Shoeboxes and learning new stuff all the time, but what exactly would this Merc style grill surround look like?

    Thanks,
    Chad

The surround will look like a '49-'51 Mercury grille surround, without the turn signal pods on the ends. It will be formed from 16g steel, and have inner bracing for strength. It will not include a latch, as your latch setup may be different than customer #2's, etc... See picture below for the general aesthetic thanks to Lee Pratt's shoebox. This is what one will look like installed.

You sure can 57/60. Keep on keepin' on.

    PM sent happy hoppy.

    I have to agree.

Calicruiser, I really like the minimal use of pin stripes. Very tasteful
