    Today finished up the Rear mounted battery,[​IMG] and put the (original)carpet back in, new G.M. shift tower(Reverse lockout)[​IMG]and got started on the windows

    love it! great front end swap! I only did a mini sub frame up front on mine, yours sure looks great!

    mines no gasser, and it is a little younger, but i like it too :)

    When the Novas first came out it wasn't long before someone started stuffing them full of small blocks followed by the factory doing the job for you. I remember at least a couple of dozen of them around here on the street and strip. Relatively cheap fun with a late model of the era.
    This frontend piece is one of the nicest I've seen..........looks like a very practical way to put some serious horsepower in these little terrors safely.

    Here's some of the latest. Finished the windows.New driveline and U-joints. Just need some fuel lines and linkage.radiator and hoses. fuel and fire!!!!!!!!

    Radiator is in. Electrical is done, Fuel lines are done.Exhaust is done, Just abunch of little stuff and we are ready.(water neck,fan belt,Ground straps and 12v to the distributor)
    Question???????? with the battery in the trunk... do i have to run a ground cable to the motor or will this UNI-BODY car have a good enough ground.with small ground straps from motor to body?

    Ground to body and ground to motor, better safe than sorry (I'm actually doing this tomorrow on my Impala). :D

    I ran to the body and a smaller guage wire to the block just to be sure.

  25. Very nice clean job. Is that a Hurst emblem I see on the right of the trunk:cool:? My 65 is also white over blue, nice cool color combo. Car looks great!

    Yes, It's a Hurst Repop of the vintage emblem. Not sure if it's staying. I think i got it in the right spot. Trying to confuse people with it in the SS embem Location, on a post car

    Took her out for a shake down run today. Motor sounds and feels great. drives straight but it's got a real bad speed wobble. and i thought i've got the toe set in enough and everything is tight. Will i have too run a dampner on the steering to stop this??????
