Here is a picture of the rear windows set-up SLDDNMAT did on my 50. I think this is the same idea you mentioned.

Back in Santa Maria, I was still holding on to that "Born to be Mild" dream, but I got over it.
Its killing me, not to be able to go to Bonneville, since everybody seems to be going this year.

Cool, I'm just gonna modify the existing regulators.

I rebuilt my steering box just before I decided to chop the car, so I'm all set, thanks.

The chop is not perfect, it will need some filler, but anything more than 1/16-1/8" filler seems excessive, I tried to make it work as best as I can.

 

Best as you can sure seems to be better than most. You nailed the lines, and I suspect most of the filler will end up as dust on the floor...

Looking great. A great example for others to emulate.
