how easy is it to find front floor pans for a 53 Dodge?

 

I used a roof off a chev van so there are not that hard to find.

 

heres my 50 pymouth special deluxe couldnt stand the top so i was going to cut it off and chop the windshield down.......but some one came and offered to buy it ........ so it survived

 

There is a guy on e-bay selling them. I got mine from him.

Car looks real good man. Get your brakes squared away? I'll keep an eye out for a grill or you could give it to someone who works with stainless and straighten out for you, maybe even less than a replacement one.

As for the visor, I have often wondered what mine would look like. I think it's either chop and no visor or no chop and visor. Might be a bit much with the visor and chop.

hello i would really appreciate if someone could tell me were i could find replacment parts for my 1953 plymouth cranbrook. its a real rust bucket thats been parked out in the elements for over 15 years the interior shot to hell and the same is for the engine and transmission. so i was wondering where i could fine a new trans along with engine and a new steering whell cause the rats got to it.

I got it running, but it has some oil pressure issues. The engine's coming out for rebuild.

 

It's a big chans that this De Soto 1950 might be my next car.

Oh pretty! Not to sure about the wire wheels but that said it is rather bad ass. Did you change the engine?

 

Have not bought it yet. It has a flathead 6 and fluid drive.

 

Can you cut enough coils out of these cars to loweer the fron of the car 3 to 4 inches????? Id have to lower the rear 3 inches to get it sitting where I want it and I want a slight foreward rake.

 

move the lower control arm spring plate to the bottom of the control arm. just make sure to thread the bolt back in when lining up and welding it. that will get you 2" then cut the coils to finish it up

 

Here's my '50 Coronet the day I sold it...I cut 1 coil from the front, and used 2" blocks in back. Got a solid 3" drop in front, and it had a very slight rake to the front.

 

Have just done a downpayment on this car. It will be delivered to me sometime betwene Wednesday-Friday next week. It's geeting closer and closer now....

 

I used a Fatman clip with 2inch dropped spindels. Lays frame all the way. Can't get any lower without channel.

as a few of you already know haha. I've been workin on a 53 dodge b3b pilothouse. I'll post some pics when I get home. I'm at work right now...lol

ok...down getting custom headers and exhaust tucked up to the frame rails, going to exit before the rear wheels.
Next need to dial in the 700r4, so close!

Any tips on dialing in an air bag set up for alignment? going to Firestone next and worried those guys wont know what to do>>
